Elizabeth Stepp Goff
Memorial Scholarship

In honor of Elizabeth Stepp Goff—a dedicated educator, adjunct professor at the University of Pikeville, and a beloved member of the Old Regular Baptist Church—her family established this scholarship to support future teachers.

Each year, a $1,000 scholarship is awarded to an Education major at UPIKE to assist with tuition costs. Preference is given to students from Pike and Martin counties in Eastern Kentucky who demonstrate financial need and a Christian background.

Applicants must submit a 500-word essay describing their educational journey at UPIKE and how this scholarship will help them continue their studies and prepare for a career in teaching. Funds are applied directly to the student’s tuition balance, and a new recipient is chosen annually.
